Today I'm loving...

Blue Anagallis monelii with bright pink geraniums in my window box outside the kitchen.

Keeping a lookout for whoever is visiting my new feeder. Isn't it fab? It was a birthday present.

Watching the promise of sun-ripened (?!) tomatoes grow before my very eyes.

Doing the maths for a new quilt.

Unfurling a jelly roll that I've had for probably 2 years and cutting into some plain fabrics to go with it.

Experimenting with the layout on my design wall.

Not loving: realising maths isn't my strong point... ah, well...

  1. Aaargh - the agony of realizing your print is a directional one. But the colours are wonderful.

  2. Today I'm loving your post!! :) Love the flowers, the bird feeder and the colours of your new quilt to be. Thanks for sharing.

  3. oh noooo.

how frustrating. (Been there... sigh. I blame the seams allowence. The more you think about them... the more confusing it becomes.)

    The colours are amazing though.

  4. Such beautiful pictures. The angallis looks like a violet; such pretty contrasting colors. Enjoy!

  5. Wow - your maths may be slightly out but your sense of colour and pattern is bang on - that's going to be a beautiful quilt! I love your little bird feeder too - really sweet and the colours in your window box would brighten even the drizzly days that we've had recently.

  6. the fabric colours for that quilt are just lovely. quilting is one craft that i have never attempted, but ould love to. i have just found your blog the coffee lady's blog, so i'm off ow to have a wee nosy round it!
