As usual, I'm late to the party in posting about momentous occasions. However, I just wanted to say for the record that it was an absolute pleasure to welcome these ladies into my home on Saturday and to see them all sat around my kitchen table felt so, so right. It was a very welcome day after such a January full of greyness.

These magenta anemones have been a very welcome addition to my kitchen as a precursor to spring too. Lit up from a stray ray of sunshine that fell on my table, it was the first time I have felt inclined to use my camera this year.

  1. I've said it before but thankyou so much.

Those beautiful anemones were right in front of me for most of the day. I drew them. I might make them in enamel. I'll keep you posted.

  2. Good to see you've picked up your camera again Tracy - those anemones are gorgeous. Thanks again for having us all x

  3. Beautiful picture and I love your header!

  4. Well, you beat me to posting! Thank you again for the best day I've had in a long time - such a pleasure, and I promise I only have a very tiny bit of cushion envy ;-)

  5. Good to see you back - and I am very envious of your party!

    Pomona x

  6. How lovely of you to host a wonderful bloggy gathering! Must admit to feeling a teeny bit jealous. So wish you weren't so far away!

  7. It sounds like you all had the most wonderful day! Blog friends are so special. Lucy xx

  8. I have chair envy, never mind the cushions!

THANK YOU once again. Beautiful day.
