Autumn sowing of my hardy annuals - DONE.
Just a few packets of seeds then... |
...girlie gardening gear, always helpful... |
...gently forking over the beds... |
...taking care not to disturb self-seeded plants... |
...being shamelessly ruthless in removing excess plants... |
...to reveal patches of bare earth ready for sowing... |
...around the last of the sunflowers... |
...knowing that I've still got flowers to come... |
...in abundance. |
A Productive Day |
oh now I feel super lazy, I sat on my new bench and enjoyed the September sun with a book........
ReplyDeleteWow, a busy day which will pay handsome dividends when your garden is a sea of colour next year. I do like your girlie gardening gear x
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like the best possible day, out in the garden.

ReplyDeleteOh these images are wonderful, especially the pile of little seed envelopes. I KNOW you had a good day.
ReplyDeleteYep, you've shamed me into it. Soaking my cerinthes overnight in preparation.
ReplyDelete*So* lovely to see you today. What a brilliant setting, and how much fun was that willow?
