I haven't seen any flying ants, but what are those horrid little black bugs that are everywhere this summer? I didn't get home until nearly 7 pm tonight and have, guiltily, not done one thing in the garden . . . not even water my baskets.
No flying ants yet!!! I am trying to embrace the hot weather now rather than let it wind me up! The poor hens are so hot though - they sit with their beaks open trying to cool off - a bit like me!!! x

ReplyDeleteBut the pollen count is through the roof, so I am hiding from the outside as much as possible.
ReplyDeleteWhere I live flying ants are a sign of heavy rain to come. We have a summer rain season.
ReplyDeleteNo ants but plenty of divebombing bluebottles with leaping cats in tow.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun and relaxing time today in your garden.
