Last week I had a quick scoot into town for a rummage through the clearance bins in John Lewis Oxford Street.

Unlike last year, when I came home with bags stuffed full of yarn, I behaved myself and only purchased 2 balls of this lovely lenpur linen.

I have had my eye on this for some time, as I mentioned in this post.  They only had this colour, but it's a start!

I'm afraid I show no such restraint in my fabric buying pursuits.  Now that my Christmas credit card is paid off, it's back to the fabric stores...

  1. I saw some of it in our JL sale. But I looked at the rowan lenpur pattern book and didn't like any of the things (or thought they would be too tricky for me).

Look forward to seeing what you turn it into.

  2. That looks like rather lovely yarn!

  3. The JL sale is positively dangerous!

I have 4 balls of Rowan tapestry waiting upstairs. Tonight could be cast on night.

  4. Oh you were much better than I was at the Rowan sale. I'm far too easily tempted. And can't wait to see more of your fabric purchases. Don't they have the most amazing fabrics? K x

Hi! Thanks for leaving me a comment, I really enjoy reading them and I will try to reply if I can find an email address for you...
