Lesson of the day...

I now know one thing for sure:

I don't ever want to get my fingers in front of this little baby...

Goodness me, its sharp! But what a tool. Just what I needed with this in front of me...

I now have a perfectly cut stack of pieces for my first attempt at quilting...

  2. I still get nervous around rotary cutters. My mum is totally blasé about using it, but I'm not! They look wonderful fabrics - can't wait to see what sort of quilt you're going to make! x

  3. Yes, my Mom, who has been quilting for some time, just whips around fabric with that thing. The great thing is it allows her to continue quilting, because scissors are to hard on her little arthritic fingers. I love your blog, I'v been visiting for some time, just so dear. Amy

  7. I bought a rotary cutter last week - not that brand - and it's rubbish. It went blunt within half an hour, and it's going back!

Looking forward to seeing your quilt.
